If your house could talk…what would it say??
As part of Charlestown’s May Day celebration, the Charlestown Preservation Society is inviting residents to stroll through its streets to learn about the life and times of residents that lived many years ago and imagine what life was like in those days and who lived in the buildings.
12 buildings have been selected throughout the town to display a poster of historical information. It could contain interesting tidbits related to the building’s history, a person who lived there, an event that took place there, its garden or architecture. In addition, many residents have created their own posters to display. All are posted outside for neighbors to walk by and enjoy.

Click here for a link to the map of participating houses.

Pick up Scavenger Hunt maps for the kids at Main Street Pasta & Wine, 40 Main Street.

Enjoy May Day!
