Have you ever wondered how old your house is? Are you interested in discovering who built your house and who lived in it before you? Join us for a talk and workshop on How to Research Your Historic House in Charlestown. The morning will begin with a talk that will walk you through the process and sources for researching the history and occupants of a building. After that, breakout sessions with CPS researchers will help answer your burning questions specific to your home and research. This workshop will provide you with everything you need to research and write the history of your home. We hope that you will be inspired by this research and will participate in our upcoming “If This House Could Talk…” walking tour (May 6th) and apply for a historic house marker by June 30th!
